what a fun upbeat country song . . . why do so many people hate this stuff? Not ALL country is “i dun went and lost my dawg again.” I was raised listening to this stuff in the early 90s. Whenever we’d be in the car with my mom we would always have country on. I’ll have to put this on a CD to drive along to along with more country songs that are worth driving to.

I first heard this version of this song at a Sawyer Brown concert. It is a remake of an old George Jones song. I think George would agree that these guys did a very fine job of covering one of his long time standards. Oh, yes it was a a dirt race. Well, when George sang it it was.
