the zR1 is faster than the GTR any day all day no denying that i love the GTR but its facts. but the GTR delivers so much for its price tag it has a smaller engine than the zR1 but yet it still only 0.2 seconds slower 1/4mile and 1 or 2 seconds slowr on a reasonably sized circuit zR1 is good but there only going to be able to sell that car in America the GTR has out sold the zR1 everywhere in the world so say what you wanna say the people know the better car when they see it.
I would like to see this race again with launch control/traction etc turned on in every one of the cars.
The Gtr is cheap, but the maintenance cost is crazy and you cant use regular tires on it and so on. 4wdr is great for acelerating out of corners and makes more use of its lower Hp wich is a good thing. Still a Corvette feels like a more elite car when you drive it.
okay. i like vettes. there is nothing like them. no one pulls along side you to start from 0mph. every time you take the vette out on the road, someone will pull up for a roll-on race. not yet had the vette failed to show how it is done.

@Dmafia100 First of all, we’re talking about Nurburgring, not a fuckin airfield made into a road course. Many different factors between both locations. Based on the numbers from a REAL and reputable road course, the ZR1 is faster in the curves as well as the straights. That’s the proof. It kills me how you “wanna be” car enthusiests want to try to dog on the facts because you like one car over the other. Grow up!
this is ridiculous you cannot compare cars who have about 100-150 hp less than the tested car, even though they have 4wd
@porscheruf9ff gtr has better handling so why not buy gtr with cheaper cost n a porsche like characteristic in it

@TTheJokeRR ok I’ll be the first to tell you it doesn’t. What gives it more potential than any of these cars? Is it that its awd or the fact that its twin turbo v6 or that it weighs a ton. The GT-R as it sits now is its top form its a damn near perfect balance for what it is that’s why the Spec-v and Nismo versions only have slightly better suspension and brakes and not a mass hp jump.

Everyone has they´re tastes, i personally don´t like the Corvette but it´s faster than those 3, obviously the Veyron, any McLaren the Ferrari 599xx would be faster, but that´s not the point, the Corvette is a great car and if you´re looking for speed considering the price the Corvette might be the right choice, every car has it´s advanteges don´t hate on other tastes…
@Dmafia100 No what im saying is you have to look at the size of all the tracks to understand whats going on!! 1 sec per lap on tracks less than 2 miles is HUGE! As i told you 1 sec per lap after 10 laps is an massive 10 sec win! Dont forget the other tracks like Laguna that the ZR1 was almost 5 sec a lap faster, or Virginia raceway 4 sec faster per lap, and more!

Its just like how no one point out the the Enzo had suspension issue when it lap the Ring and no one else went after the record for the Enzo but yet still its one of the fastest.
Do you even know what I’m saying? Your not seeing my point, before you get all emotional over ZR1 you should get what I’m saying. Anyways, I said SOME of the tracks, meaning more than one, Its like your saying all the them are 1.5 miles ? stupid point. A win is a win even if its by 0.1 sec.

@Dmafia100 The Top gear track “was” damp and more important than anything COLD! 638HP RWD car on a damp and cold track trying to set its best lap time is a Joke! The NIssan had a nice warm bone dry track didnt it?
Do you know anything about racing in general?? I would say NO… as only someone with very little knowledge of racing would say almost a sec on a tiny 1.5 mile track is nothing? Its alot.. infact its around 10 sec faster after 10 laps now isnt it. Thats what makes the Difference!!!!
